Our services help guide and support domestic violence victims and survivors achieve a safer and more stable environment. Our dedicated case managers will help and empower victims and survivors of domestic violence overcome and remove barriers to employment.
Our program is in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). To be eligible for services, participant needs to be receiving or be eligible for California Work Opportunity Responsibility to Kids (CalWorks) and Greater Avenues for Independence (GAIN), General Relief (GR) or General Relief Opportunities for Work (GROW) programs and are domestic violence survivors. Participants must reside in Los Angeles County Supervisorial Districts 3 and 5. Those areas include: Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley and the San Fernando Valley.
Our bilingual counselors can help survivors in either English or Spanish.
Our program will provide intensive individual, group, and if appropriate family-focused case management services to our clients to help them get back on their feet. This includes safety planning with the client to address any safety concerns, service planning to develop a plan and set up individualized goals and follow up to resources and referrals as needed to help them achieve those goals.
Our trained staff will connect clients to a domestic violence shelter and in emergency situations find temporary housing to help survivors of domestic violence, as well as their children, with a safe, secure space to help them break away and find stability, to begin to transform their lives.
We understand that at times our clients may need additional support. We also have a licensed therapist on staff to assist clients with exceptional needs on an individual basis.
Our qualified and trained Domestic Violence Counselors will provide the on-going weekly one to one counseling, support, and advocacy that victims and survivors of domestic violence need. Our clients will be able to talk directly with a qualified staff member who is ready to listen and help.
We offer a comprehensive 12-week domestic violence education/support group. Our curriculum covers topics such as what domestic violence is and how to recognize the warning signs of an abusive or unhealthy relationship and how domestic violence impacts children and teens.

Donations can help families with purchasing safety and emergency items; such as pre-paid cell phones, clothing for children, hygiene items, gas cards and help us with the cost of emergency hotel stays for families.
