Wraparound is a child–focused, family-centered, strengths-based, needs-driven planning process. This process provides access to an array of comprehensive mental health services. It is a team-based, collaborative process for helping children and youth with special mental health needs. Families learn to identify and use their strengths and community resources to address their individual needs.
DCFS involved families (voluntary/court ordered): Who are court ordered as a dependent of the dependency court or as a ward of the juvenile court AND Child/ youth is exhibiting significant behavioral difficulties at home, school and community.
