As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, what could be better than a Garden Party?!! Get on that garden party attire, and let’s support our LGBTQ+ youth at the LGBTQ+ Garden Party May 11th! From balloons and beverages to a drag show, this party will be a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community – as well as help raise money for our programs! In my opinion, the highlight of the LGBTQ+ Garden Party will be the silent art auction.
Six pieces of artwork, all designed and created by clients of our LGBTQ+ Programs, will be sold to the highest bidder. I am having so much fun seeing the art that is being created, as well as reading the bios & descriptions that will accompany the pieces. Even the photos of the artists – and/or their cats, as the case may be – give a glimpse into the hearts and lives of our LGBTQ+ youth.
